How to set up a Lavender Shower Melts Tutorial
The biggest thing to remember when you’re creating these shower melts is that you want to mix them very well. You want the dry ingredients and the wet ingredients to be mixed so that they form that texture that you’re looking for as well as the scent.
When you’re adding the mixture to the molds, really pack it in. This is because the tighter it’s in there, the more likely that it’s going to hold together to form the shower melts.
If you have trouble removing the melts after they’ve rested for 24 hours, take a butter knife and gently run it around the edges. This should help pop them out enough that you can then place them on the floor of your shower easily near the drain.
You also need to keep them stored in a container that is airtight and has a lid because the air will cause them to soften and break apart. While you can still use them after that, they’re not near as pretty!
How to use lavender shower melts
Once you make the melts, you just need to put 1-3 melts on the floor of your shower, near the drain. Then when the warm water and steam starts coming down on them, they’ll melt away down the drain and release that relaxing lavender scent.
You’re going to love how fast and simple these are to make and they’re going to make your shower so much more relaxing, too!
These would also make great homemade gifts for holidays and birthdays, too. People love when someone takes the time to give them a gift that they made. Plus, these smell awesome, too! Have fun creating this simple shower melt DIY. It’s beautiful and smells so good!
